Lunch money 17:03 Aug 26, 2011
Thanks for your quick answers to my enquiry. I am not keen on using the term "lunch money" in a UK context as schools in this country do provide meals and this would probably be perceived as being a charge for receiving actual food. My dad used to give me "dinner money" when I was a kid and I used it to buy lunch tickets with it for use in the school canteen. We didn't pay anything for the "privilege" of staying over. Perhaps something like "lunchtime supervision fee" would get the idea across. |
