Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / Text on primary education in the Netherlands
Dutch term or phrase: signatuur
Hi everyone, what would be the meaning of 'signatuur' in the following passage from a text on education?

'Op het gebied van schoolgrootte, leerlingenachtergronden, SIGNATUUR, percentage traditionele vernieuwingsscholen en urbaniteit zien we geen verschillen van betekenis tussen de steekproef van 1995 en de steekproef van 2000.'

Many thanks in advance!

denomination / philosophical or religious orientation
Explanation:
denomination or
(philosophical or religious) orientation

Denomination seems to refer primarily to religious aspects.

Under the denominational system of education, schools were designated as:

- Integrated (Anglican, Presbyterian, Salvation Army or United Church)
- Pentecostal
- Roman Catholic or
- Seventh-day Adventist

Single denomination schools for Chritians and Jewish students are fine to be funded by the state - but now we are told we should not fund Muslim single denomination schools (which only just started to be recognized and a very few started to be state funded).
Muslims are told everyone must integrate. Well how could a Muslim integrate if they are immediately excluded if they apply to a Christian or Jewish schools (ignoring the very few places "left aside" for other religions). Effectively, most Muslims are forced to go to comprehensives -- this is the modern apartheid in the UK : Most good schools are either Christian or Jewish denominated - and the Muslims are mostly excluded from these.
