I'm having a little trouble trying to make sense of this sentence. Does it mean that the ring connection must be a completely separate route with components which are at least 10 meters apart along the roads etc?
Thanks |

| | ring connection/circuit should be closed via a completely separate trajectory | Explanation: Since the "network topography" is ring-shaped, the circle will have to be closed somewhere, implying that the network cables have to loop back somewhere. I think the idea is that the cables and components forming the ring should never be closer to each than the prescribed distances on roads and viaducts.

I think 'ring main' might be an alternative for 'ring connection' or 'ring main', but I'm not quite sure about that in this context. I think I'd go for 'ring circuit' myself [Kluwer Elektrotechniek: ringleiding (netwerk) = ring main, ring feeder, loop feeder]. |
