Dutch term or phrase: restmateriaal

"[LED-lampen bevatten geen milieubelastende stoffen zoals kwik.] Bovendien is het restmateriaal voor 99% recyclebaar."

My translation:
"Moreover, 99% of the ??? can be recycled."

I considered "leftover material" and "remaining material" but they do not sound quite right. Any ideas? Thanks.

Explanation:
IMO restmateriaal is, in fact, used incorrectly in this case. It suggests that there are also consumables involved and that, indeed as you propose, in the end-of-life state some material is left over.
