reserve accelaration

Explanation:
The 'restversnelling' is a measure of how much the available traction capacity (force) exceeds the amount necessary to maintain a certain speed, expressed in terms of acceleration (thus taking into account the mass of the train).
Although 'remaining acceleration' might be used for this, my preference would be 'reserve accelaration'.

Residual acceleration

Explanation:
Residual acceleration - 608 hits

Residual acceleration arest(1cab.) 0,84 0,84 m/s² At 180 km/h

zonder helling:
restversnelling arest = F0/m = (F100-wtreinGtrein)/(Gtrein/g) =
(194,4 - 1 • 20000/1000)/(20000/9,81) =
174,4/2039 = 0,086 m/s2
met helling:
restversnelling arest = [F100 - (wtrein+H)Gtrein]/(Gtrein/g) =
[194,4 - (1+5) 20000/1000]/(20000/9,81) =
74,4/2039 = 0,036 m/s2

Residual Acceleration is experienced by an object fixed to an airplane that is nominally flying along a parabolic trajectory to approximate a free fall.
