een goed bereikbare brandschakelaar moet aanwezig zijn
- would this be fire extinguisher, fire alarm? if the former, how is it distinguished form blusmiddelen?

neutral  Jack den Haan: Mary geeft weinig context, maar desondanks geloof ik niet dat cut-off switch hier van toepassing is Rodi. // Ja kan, maar het zou m.i. even goed kunnen dienen om een brandalarm of een sprinkerinstallatie handmatig in te schakelen.

agree  Jack den Haan: Mee eens, hoewel je 'fire switch' natuurlijk ook kunt interpreteren in de zin van 'vuren' of 'schieten'. Maar vanuit de context -- al is die beperkt -- zal deze misinterpretatie wel uitgesloten zijn lijkt mij ;-)
