Dutch to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) | | Dutch term or phrase: 12-voudige slang | I am currently completing a technical translation (assembling "E-chuck to stone flex assy"), and am struggling with the above term (my Kluwer dictionary gives no suggestions).
The context is as follows:
"Neem de 12-voudige slang [pos 12] en teken deze af met de aftekenmal. De lengten van elk stuk staan op de tekening aangegeven in de tabel rechtsonder, aangeduid als item 12.
Nu beginnen we met het plaatsen van de 12-voudige slang. De slang links van de tube fixing piece heeft de volgende lengte;
- slang 1 [bovenste] water uit
- slang 4 water in
- slang 8 afzuiging drive arm
- slang 9 perslucht airfoot
Nummer de slangen met stickers van 1 t/m 12.
Would "12-fold / 12-piece tube / hose" be an appropriate translation?
All suggestions welcome - KudoZ points will be awarded within 72 hours.
Many thanks,

| | set of 12 hoses / bundle of 12 hoses | Explanation: If the hoses are bundled together, you could say 'bundle of 12 hoses'; if they are routed separately 'set of 12 hoses' would be better. If you don't know how the hoses are routed, 'set' is a safer translation.
