Dutch term or phrase: Vangmagneet
Overal waar ijzerdelen uit fijnkorrelige, granuleuze, vezelige of vloeibare stoffen verwijderd moeten worden, vinden dergelijke vangmagneten een toepassing.

As you can see below, I have located this particular explanation on vangmagneten, however I still can't locate a suitable translation.

Vangmagneten worden toegepast voor de ontijzering van materiaalstromen op transportbanden, trilvoeders, tijdens vrije val, in verticaal- of schuin opgestelde leidingen, onder glijplaten, enzovoort.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

Many thanks,

Magnetic separator/Trap magnet
Explanation:
The generic term for a magnet which is used to separate or trap ferrous material and remove it from non-ferrous material is a magnetic separator. The term trap magnet or magnetic trap is also often used and this sounds most similar to your Dutch original.

magnetic chip collector

Explanation:
Is dat wat?

"Plastalloy chip collector One side of a bipolar transistor. When the base is pulsed, current flows from the emitter to the collector, or vice versa depending on the design. See drain.

"Magnetic Chip Collector: The Electrodyne Co. offers its Plastalloy chip-collector magnets for capturing metal filings, chips and other ferrous materials which would otherwise damage downstream components. These magnets work in temperatures to 150 C, are oil resistant, and are suitable for the extremes of most metalworking applications including cutting fluid recirculation systems, according to the company. Pressure-sensitive adhesives are available to hold the magnets in place."

Interception or scavenging magnet

Explanation:
Interception being the action that prevents metal particles going further and interfering with whatever undergoing process is being actioned. Similary if a process is ongoing and metal particles are being generated, the magnet can "scavenge" the particles to prevent ensuing damage.
