Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
Dutch term or phrase: concernbetalingen
I understand that **Concernbetaling** is where client A transfers money to the account of client B with both of them being clients of the same bank. I don't think they have to be clients of the same branch, however. I don't know what the correct term for this in English is and I'd rather get some help than take a guess.

Thank you all. Jarry's peer comment seems to be spot on as concern is used in places in the document where it refers to a group.

agree  xxxjarry: or intra-group payments. "Concern" in Dutch is often used to mean 'group'. I believe that this is the case here, too.

inter-branch/internal transfers (between clients/companies/businesses etc)

Explanation:
Dave's right of course but if you need to emphasise the method of payment as it looks like you do from a banking perspective, I'd go for this.

Inter-branch if you know the clients are in different branches

Internal would cover both situations: within the same branch and more widely interpreted within the same bank.

If in doubt, I'd go for the second option.

Hope it helps

agree  Dave Calderhead: internal transfer is what I would go for in banking - or even internal funds transfer

-> thanks Dave, yeah agree with you - Johan isn't sure it's different branches and this covers both instances, so is safer.
