Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / wage statement
Dutch term or phrase: BAP
Dear colleagues,

I'm currently translating a number of personal financial docs. In a wage statement I see the above abbreviation in the following context:

"Periode: [datum] BAP [datum] [code]"

This is for a certified translation, so I need to know what it stands for and how I should translate it. TIA for your prompt feedback.

If WIDIC's answer is incorrect in this context, ''belastingadviesprogramma' (see below) might be an option, although I doubt that very much. IMHO, the term/acronym 'BAP' should probably be treated as a proper noun, and not translated at all.

Het ** Belastingadviesprogramma (BAP) ** is hiervoor een geschikt instrument. De achterliggende idee is dat u uw cliënten regelmatig doorlicht op besparingsmogelijkheden en knelpunten. U wacht niet tot uw cliënt zich tot u wendt voor advies, maar probeert hem èn de belastingdienst voor te blijven.

There is another possibility, too
BAB = wet Beroep Administratieve Beschikkingen

neutral  Ken Cox: This expansion of BAP appears to be specifically Belgian, while the rest of the asker's related questions suggest a Netherlands source.
