Explanation:
As found in Kluwer's dictionary.

Looks like 'boekstuk' can be used for a whole range of documents such as time sheets, invoices, purchase & sales, production, stock management, etc. which are then collected in a 'daybook'.

Explanation:
I just checked in my accounting package on the English language setting and boekstuk is translated there as posting. A boekstuk is the document in an accounting package that any receipt, invoice makes, so it's not the receipt or the invoice itself, but the entry inside the accounting package that's the boekstuk. So in your case, the receipt was already entered in the accounting package and the package gave it the number 2.
