37 mins confidence:
44 mins confidence: property merger
Explanation: "Jointly owning property. Marriage isn't a prerequisite for owning property together, but if you get married, in most situations your property will be jointly owned regardless of who paid for it. This is the reverse of the presumption that applies to unmarried couples. Getting married may be the most efficient way of establishing a property merger. If keeping things separate is more to your taste, you will have to sign a prenuptial agreement to avoid the joint ownership presumptions of a legal marriage."

48 mins confidence: peer agreement (net): +1 community of property
Explanation: Jurlex does indeed give "joining of estates", as Jack says, but I'm not convinced.
Another possibility might be "community of property", which scores quite a few relevant Google hits:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q="community of property"...
including this one:
"A Nuffied Foundation funded project to investigate the benefits and disadvantages of a European-style community of property regime for married and cohabiting couples, as compared with the system of separate property which exists in England and Wales."
http://www.reading.ac.uk/law/research/law-communityofpropert...
But I'm no expert in this field, so maybe Jurlex (and Jack!) are right...
