I have found single premiums, or maybe purchase price is better. premiums and single premiums doesn't sound good.

lump-sums / lump-sum contributions
Explanation:
in pension terminology, "premie" is contribution,
therefore it would be contributions and lump-sums.

The lump-sums are usually for past-service topping up in final-pay pension plans to take pay rises into account

neutral  Dave Calderhead: not really pension terminology - see my answer//although pension can be a type of life insurance, the terminology is sometimes different. We are all just trying to give asker a good answer, Albert :D

neutral  xxxjarry: In my experience, the source you quote is often unreliable (compiled by a Dutch-speaking Registeraccountant who failed to have his work edited by an English-speaking CA or CPA). You can take it from me that TFM contains at least 1 howler every 2nd page!
