Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / billing/invoicing
Dutch term or phrase: Dienstverantwoordelijke
Dit is typisch Vlaams, en ik (NL) ken de nuance niet. Toch ook maar even op het nederlandse forum plaatsen.

Context:
"Een aanmaning van de financiele dienst, en dan ondertekend met:
Departement Financien
[handtekening]
[naam]
Dienstverantwoordelijke

Wordt behandeld door [iemand anders]."

Is de dienstverantwoordelijke de manager?
Wordt een rekening officieel ondertekend door een manager (ongewoon in US context), of welke vertaling past hier het best?

Hartelijk dank.

Duty manager

Explanation:
I would translate this as duty manager but I have seen that you are looking for US English and I'm not sure if this is more UK terminology...

Department manager

Explanation:
Is de dienst tegelijk het departement, dan kan "department manager" ook als vertaling.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Correct, thanks for your input. Dept was already agreed on in Sindy's answer, so it gets a little hard to award points in that case...
