I have cost-covering premium, or self-financing contributions
and cushioned for gedempte - Van den End suggests this
but I don't know if these are really reliable.

The DNB use "cost-effective cushioned premium". I always follow their lead when it comes to pensions terminology.
Cf:

Om te benadrukken dat de 'gedempte premie' een variant van de kostendekkende premie is, wordt in discussies over dit onderwerp veelal de term 'gedempte kostendekkende premie' gebruikt in plaats van 'gedempte premie'. Een eventueel gedempte premie vervult dezelfde rol als de kostendekkende premie hierboven."

To be precise, DNB says you have either a kostendekkende premie or a gedempte premie, both of which fulfil the same purpose, but are based on a different set of variables. So in English it should be either a "cost-effective premium" or a "cushioned premium". |
