| Dutch term or phrase: gulden courant | "ALLES PLAATSELIJK BEKEND ALS XYZ,
het hoogste bod ad [SOM VOLUIT] *GULDEN NEDERLANDS ANTILLIAANSE COURANT* (Naf. [som in cijfers])"
This term appears in a notarial instrument from the 1990s in which reference is made to real property. My question is whether this term should be translated in this context simply as "Netherlands Antillean Guilders" or as "Netherlands Antillean Guilders in circulation"? If there's a better way of rendering it, I'd be happy to entertain suggestions. Thanks, Rob. |
