The above Google hits (6,230 in the meantime, after well over five days) were obtained after our serious efforts to illustrate and explain the general idea of \'leesportefeuille\', \'leesmap\' and the like to colleagues who are not familiar with this typical Dutch institution.
Quite obviously, this term is hardly understood abroad, not just in the US, but also \'south of the border\'.
