Dutch term or phrase: laspeuken
No context - It's just a list of types of waste I'm afraid and I can't find much of help on Google.

welding stubs
Explanation:
These are what are left over when rods are used in welding. The web reference shows how they are stored in a container.

Pain in the neck

Explanation:
This is probably not much help, and doesn't really fit in with the context, but my Dutch partner says a "lastpeuk" with a t - is someone who's a pain in the buttocks. Otherwise he has never heard of the word, but guesses it has something to do with welding. Perhaps the word is just supposed to be 'laswerk'?

disagree  iqcservices: I don't think so; in the context, it is a kind of waste. Nothing to do with a pain in the neck (or the ass).

disagree  vixen: As you indicated yourself, your translation is totally out of context. Besides, it's a translation for "lasTpAk", not "laspeuk" ;-)

neutral  Jack den Haan: Rather odd word, that does indeed relate to welding. See http://www.vanotools.nl/blog/index.php?paged=2 .
