a repressieve taken:
1. het beperken en bestrijden van brand, het beperken van brandgevaar, het beperken van ongevallen bij brand en al hetgeen daarmee verband houdt;
2. het beperken en bestrijden van gevaar voor mensen en dieren bij ongevallen anders dan bij brand;
3. de uitvoering van werkzaamheden ter zake van het beperken en bestrijden van rampen, als bedoeld in artikel 1 van de Wet rampen en zware ongevallen;
b preventieve taken:
1. het voorkomen en beperken van brand, het beperken van brandgevaar, het voorkomen en beperken van ongevallen bij brand en al hetgeen daarmee verband houdt;
2. de uitvoering van werkzaamheden ter zake van het beperken van rampen, als bedoeld in artikel 1 van de Wet Rampen en Zware Ongevallen;
3. de uitvoering van de voorschriften met betrekking tot het brandveilig gebruik van woningen, woonketen, woonwagens, andere gebouwen, bouwwerken geen gebouwen zijnde, en standplaatsen;
4. de uitvoering van de Brandbeveiligingsverordening.
