I agree with Iris - the specific context is relevant in choosing the best option. Is it e.g. a conference that was beset by problems but still turned out a success (spectacular feat [of determination])? Is it climbing a mountain in weather that would keep most people at home (daring exploit)? Is it an operatic performance that left viewers crying (virtuoso performance)? And so on...
I think it depends a little bit on what form this 'huzarenstukje' exactly takes... it means something like a great performance or achievement, something really spectacular. 'Daring exploit' comes closest I think, I can't think of anything else really! What other suggestions do people have?
