agree. That 'eeder' is not unimportant, imo. I've alraedy handed in the translation, but if I'd seen your remark earlier I might have gone with something like 'be less hesitant in setting boundaries'.

my first reaction is that it means sooner than later. there are other ways to say quickly. and eerder has several meanings that depend on the context. That's why I asked you. I still think it's a 'sooner than later' idea here. Ie not much hesitation

Olly, I quite like your solution of 'quicker to draw the line'. To my mind, a degree of assertiveness is implicit in this. By contrast, someone who's not so quick to draw a line/set boundaries would generally be considered less assertive.
