Dutch term or phrase: eerder grenzen stellen
I can't get around this for some reason... I've got 'be quicker to draw the line', which is what I believe it means, but it doesn't sound right. It's part of a test report on a candidate for a job, under the English heading "possibilities for further development".

I'd like to go for something like 'define boundaries more assertively' but I want to keep the 'eerder' if I can...
