Dutch to English translations [PRO] General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters | | Dutch term or phrase: scherp en inhoudelijjk sterk | Yes, another old chestnut.
Onze organisatie stelt drie verschillende markten centraal: reclame, bouw en industrie. Onze industriële verkopers kunnen dus volledig op de ontwikkelingen binnen de industriële markt focussen en dat maakt ze scherp en inhoudelijk sterk.
I take this to mean that they are well-informed about the developments and generally clued up on what's going on. I've thought of 'which keeps them sharp and on the ball', but I feel they're a bit synonymous. Any suggestions? |

| | keen/astute/on edge and knowledgeable | Explanation: "inhoudelijk sterk" kun je vertalen als knowledgeable, het omschrijven vraagt in het Engels teveel woorden. Misschien heeft iemand een beter alternatief voor "inhoudelijk sterk". |

| Grading comment Yes, keen and knowledgeable. Or, to get away from the 'enthusiastic' meaning of keen, perhaps 'keeps them sharp and knowledgeable'. Thanks. 2 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
