Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Government / Politics / employment contract | | Dutch term or phrase: normjaartaak | In een arbeidsovereenkomst van de Mondriaan Contractgroep staat onder kopje 'Artikel 6 vakantie' het volgende:
"In relatie tot de bij de instelling van kracht zijnde vakantieregeling geldt onverkort dat de jaartaak gerealiseerd dient te worden. De *normjaartaak* bedraagt 1659 uur."
Hoe vertaal je '(norm)jaartaak' naar goed Engels? Op Internet komt een aantal keren het woordje 'yeartask' voor maar is dat hier toepasbaar? Wat zijn de alternatieven? |

Wat is de normjaartaak van een docent?
In het onderwijs geldt een normjaartaak. Dat is de jaarlijkse arbeidsduur per jaar bij een volledige betrekking. Door CAO-afspraken over arbeidsduurverkorting is de normjaartaak stapsgewijs verlaagd van 1710 tot 1659 uur. Dit zijn trouwens niet alleen lesuren. Ook de uren die leraren gebruiken voor het voorbereiden van hun les of het nakijken van proefwerken en tentamens vallen onder de normjaartaak. Het aantal lesuren verschilt per onderwijssector.
