Dutch term or phrase: beschikking

Maybe I've been staring at this sentence too long, but I'm a little confused as to the meaning of 'beschikking' here. Any thoughts? TIA

De Bibob wet biedt namelijk de mogelijkheid tot het weigeren en of intrekken van vergunningen of subsidies (beschikking) als er sprake is van ernstig gevaar dat de gewenste beschikking mede zal worden gebruikt om strafbare feiten of onrechtmatige handelingen te plegen of dat bij het verkrijgen van de gewenste beschikking een strafbaar feit is gepleegd.
