Never heard of this term before, but my guess is that it's a code for indicating the manning of 'functional' positions in an organisation or a team.

neutral  Robert Kleemaier: You might be on the right track, Carmen, but there is also something called "nachtbezetting", which makes me wary of your use of "daily"

  -> Yes, I see your point. It would be saver to make a distinction between day & night time now that you point this out, thanks for this. It is hard to be sure though without a context.

neutral  Jack den Haan: Yes, I tend to agree with Robert. I also translated 'dag' as 'daily', but, strictly speaking, this would only apply if the source text had read 'dagelijks'. On second thoughts, the term itself also seems to suggest a distinction between day & night time.
