Human Resources
Dutch term or phrase: organisatieonderdeel
I'm trying to find a short term. The meaning is 'part of the organisation'. I can't use 'business unit', since the organisation is divided into what they call 'businesses'. To them 'organisatieonderdeel' are: separate services, teams, departments.
Example of context: Een van de belangrijkste stappen in het hele implementatieproces, is de oriëntatie op het project door (de directie van) [organisatieonderdeel]

Explanation:
divisions are OK, but where I work part time and the organisation structure includes discrete units and other lines of business divisions, we use organisational entity as a blanket term.

Thank you all. I decided to use organisational entity as a blanket term, rather than division. Thanks (again!), Dave.
