Dutch term or phrase: knelpuntberoepen
This comes up in a list of things some HR experts are going to be talking about in an interview. Most of the sites I've come across that mention 'bottleneck professions' are Belgian, which makes me suspicious of a literal translation. One site defines them as 'These are professions with more vacancies than qualified candidates on the Belgian labour market' or 'professions for which it is difficult to find applicants'. Any ideas?

hard-to-fill jobs/positions, or even understaffed professions, might be another option. Thanks, everyone!
