Law/Patents - Human Resources / Safety procedures
Dutch term or phrase: VGM (Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu)
This abreviation appears numerous times in a policy statement. I have translated the text as "Safety, Health and Environment", but would like to know if there is an equivalent standard abreviation for VGM.

This appears, for instance, in the sentence "Gestreefd zal worden naar een continue verbetering op het gebied van VGM." It also appears, however, in several tables (where there isn't a lot of room) in text such as "VGM-manager".

SHE
Explanation:
I've encountered this before, and somewhat to my surprise and amusement, SHE is a commonly used abbreviation in this context.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! Both SHE and HSE are in common use, but SHE seems to be more common. I based my final decision on the following document: http://beltest.fgov.be/belcert/pdf/BELAC_6-011_Rev_19-04-2004_FN.pdf It's not every day you find such a clear cut answer!

agree  vixen: I've come across this term (HSE) before and it would be my first choice too, esp. because of the commonly used term 'Health & Safety'. However, the use of SHE appears to be more widespread.
