I feel that the word for "opvang" might be "relief" but it seems too strong of a term.

WIA Repair Policy


Explanation:
The WIA is replacing the WAO, which is a Disability Benefit. The WIA only provides for a max. 70% of the previous income, but is usually less. There are insurance products which provide for the gap between the actual benefit and the 70% level:

"Werknemers met een salaris boven de WIA-loongrens krijgen bij arbeidsongeschiktheid vaak een veel lagere uitkering dan de gebruikelijke 70% van het laatstverdiende loon. Voor deze werknemers, die vaak sleutelposities bekleden, is een aanvullende verzekering noodzakelijk." (NN)

"Per 1 januari 2006 treedt de Wet Werk en Inkomen naar Arbeidsvermogen in werking (WIA). Met de WIA heeft de overheid verder gesnoeid in de sociale zekerheid. De gevolgen van arbeidsongeschiktheid grijpen financieel fors in op uw levensstandaard. Een inkomensdaling van 30 tot 50% is helaas geen uitzondering meer. Vooral jonge werknemers en mensen die jaarlijks meer verdienen dan het maximum WIA-jaarloon (€ 43.770,- per 1 juli 2005) kunnen er financieel fors op achteruit gaan.

Gelukkig heeft De Amersfoortse een passende oplossing met de WIA-Excedent verzekering. U heeft hiermee een aanvullende dekking die uw inkomen op een acceptabel niveau houdt." (De Amersfoortse)

I found an similar product of NN called "WIA AOP" (Arbeidsongeschiktheidspolis) and at De Amersfoortse it is called WIA-Excedent Verzekering. Take your pick.

Obviously, the "Opvang Polis" is a policy providing for additional coverage for the Disability Benefit (WIA). Since it is the name of a policy you could choose to leave it as it is. But if you would like to translate it, here is a suggestion: since it "repairs" the level of your income when you are subject to the WIA rules, I would call it a WIA Repair Policy.
