Bus/Financial - Insurance / Pensions | | Dutch term or phrase: "voorbeeldkapitalen" | As in: "Op het overzicht van de voorbeeldkapitalen en voorbeeldpensioenen is het investeringsdeel van de pensionpremies belegd in het Swiss Life Mixfonds op basis van een bruto eigen voorbeeld rendement van 7,00%."

This is of the top of my head: The "voorbeeld-" in this instance is the projected return on investment (premiums)
The same goes for the pension part, it is not a guaranteed amount, but projected amount.

Asker: Oh THANK you, Johan. "Projected" makes a lot of sense in this context. Now, why couldn't I think of that?
Asker: Well Johan, at first glance I was quite pleased with "projected" but a private source pointed out to me that in his experience with translating similar subjects, he found "illustrative" the best translation for "voorbeeld" in this context, and there were many Google hits to confirm this. I had to agree, and also think "representative" could work. So, because "projected" isn't quite the right term here, I'm not awarding points. Sorry.
Asker: Hmmmmm.... still learning how KudoZ works. I guess adding the term to the open glossary means you get the points anyway.
Asker: See my note on "voorbeeldpension." I am now assured that in this particular context "voorbeeld" can, and indeed does, mean "projected." Live and learn.
