this seems to mean that the owner gets the payout, not the lessee. but how to say that in English?

neutral  xxxjarry: I think that should be 'for the benefit of the owner'landlord'. OK, but does it make sense for a tenant to take out a policy which the landlord could (presumably) contract himself? That would be risky would it not?
