On an American site one form of assistance is "Lost wage reimbursement to any person responsible for the maintenance of a victim who has suffered a personal injury"
http://www.jud.ct.gov/crimevictim/
This might be another possibility.

  -> Thanks, it is certainly tricky

agree  writeaway: yup only 1 hit on the www and that was single, not plural. but thankfully it does explain the term.

  -> Thanks, P.

agree  Kitty Brussaard: Agree with 'reimbursements' but to cover 'cadeau' why not literally 'reimbursements of presents'? / I checked your link (which I didn't at first) and see your point!

  -> I think you are totally missing what the term means - there is only one reference to this on the Internet and it certainly does not refer to 'presents'
