Bus/Financial - Insurance / employment contract | | Dutch term or phrase: Waarborgpolis | "Werkgever kent een collectieve WIA-Waarborgpolis en WIA-Excedentverzekering"
This is the only reference to the above term in an employment contract I am currently working on. FWIW, the corresponding subheading is "Collectieve WIA-verzekering".
So far the only translation I have been able to find is "security bond" in the English translation of this article: http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:...

Robert - the WIA-excedentverzekering is a top-up or supplementary insurance under the WIA (Work and Income Capacity for Work Act),
The WIA-waarborgpolis is a surety bond posted by the employer to guarantee WIA payments
the WIA is a VERY complicated act intended to make certain everyone who possibly can does work for wages; I do not find any insurer actually offering this policy, however! |
