used in the following sentence:
Mijn werkzaamheden bestonden uit het overvoeren van diverse verzekeringen naar de verschillende volmachten, alsmede het contact onderhouden met volmachtkantoren over de administratieve afwikkeling.
I'm not sure about the meaning and haven't found any translation in English. Thanks in
