Dutch term or phrase: uitstelposten
This term occurs in the following sentence:
"De premie voor de uitstelposten is reeds bekend en wordt vastgelegd tijdens de conversie in een separaat bestand."
Since the topic is insurance/investment related, the translation must also be appropriately topic-specific, which I am unable to find in the reference sources available. Will appreciate any help from fellow translators.

would be my take, but it would be helpful if we knew exactly what these deferred items are (deferred annuities? deferred claims?, etc.)

I think that \"posten\" must refer to amounts. You could say that prepayments are \'uitgestelde posten\' when they refer to expenses that should only be charged in the next period (financial year). In other words, they are held in abeyance (deferred that is) by showing them as an asset item on the balance sheet, thus not affecting the profit or loss for the period in which they were paid. I think that \"uistelposten\" is a Flemish term for what the Dutch call \"overlopende activa/passiva (posten).

thanks for the suggestion, I believe that this fits most, topically. could 'prepaid amounts' fit better in the situation, provided posten also means amounts?

thanks, however I do not find the translation suits the context, though literally it is ok. I had myself thought about deferment items, but didn't feel right about it.

'kosten (opbrengsten) die vooruit worden betaald (ontvangen)' as opposed to 'anticipatieposten die worden achteraf betaald'.

  -> Thanks. In accounting (including insurance accounting) deferred items include income received but not deemed to have been earned. In fact part of "overlopende pasiva (posten)". What puzzles me here is the combination with premiums.
