In a company's articles of association ("statuten"), there is a paragraph about the register of shareholders that the company has to keep. The register includes such details as the names and addresses of the shareholders, usufructuaries and holders of a right to pledge. The paragraph continues as follows:

Could anyone tell me please what "de datum van erkenning of betekening" means here please?
