Uit de volgende zin betreffende schoning van een computerbestand:
Tevens wordt ten behoeve van systeem X een trigger geplaatst in een tabel, die 1x per uur wordt 'leeggelezen'.

De aanhalingstekens zijn van de auteur zelf, hij of zij vond het zelf blijkbaar ook lastig... Ik denk dat het betekent: de tabel lezen, de informatie opslaan in de vorm van een uitvoerbestand en de tabel ook nog eens schonen of legen. De Engelse term zou hetzelfde moeten uitdrukken... zou het misschien zijn: 'will be read and cleared (afterwards)'?

I don't think 'leeglezen' refers to clearing the table. Essentially, that would be a write operation, not a read operation.
