Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Science - IT (Information Technology) | | Dutch term or phrase: als parameter doorgeven | I am currently working on an IT translation (covering macros, routines, includes, parameter files, data exchange, authorization, security etc), and am struggling to find a suitable translation for the above term.
The context is as follows:
"Tijdens de XCOM sessie worden twee parameter bestanden gebruikt.
In de bestanden [...] en [...] worden gegevens vastgelegd die voor zowel ontvangst als verzending van gegevens kunnen worden gebruikt.
Deze gegevens worden door het DataFlex programma bepaald of opgehaald uit het systeembestand en door het DataFlex programma als parameter doorgegeven".
Could I use the term "pass" or "transfer" in this context?
