Tech/Engineering - IT (Information Technology) | | Dutch term or phrase: fysiek maken | I am currently working on a short IT translation, and am struggling with the above term.
The context is as follows:
"Na het afsluiten van dit project kennen de studenten de in en outs van het bekabelen van netwerkvoorzieningen via diverse uitvoeringen van kabelgoten. Het monteren van kabels in een patchkast is geoefend, zoals ook het fysiek maken van diverse soorten kabels."

Explanation:
Als ik het goed begrijp uit de tekst, worden de kabels door de studenten zelf 'from scratch' gemaakt. Manufacturing klinkt weer teveel alsof het in de fabriek gebeurt.
