Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Belgian employment contract
Dutch term or phrase: arbeidsregeling
"Artikel X - Werkschema

De deeltijdse *arbeidsregeling* is vastgesteld op 10 uur per week en is variabel van week tot week al naargelang de planning van de werknemer."

The above term appears in the same employment contract from Belgium, and I'm looking for the most appropriate rendering of this term in the given context. There are a number of possible solutions (see: www.proz.com/kudoz/299698 and www.eurofound.eu.int/emire/BELGIUM/WORKRULES-BE.html). Quick input would be welcome. Cheers, R.

neutral  writeaway: then how would you translate Werkschema?/well, imho, the werkschema is the work schedule. interesting that people from NL (ie not B) see it differently

agree  Tina Vonhof: or work hours. A 'werkschema' (what is done, not when) is a job/activity schedule.
