Dutch to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / clausules | | Dutch term or phrase: boekenclausule | Een **boekenclausule**, bijvoorbeeld in een hypotheekakte, is "een clausule die bepaalt dat de boeken van een bepaalde partij (vb. de bank) als doorslaggevend bewijs zullen dienen om aan te tonen hoeveel de andere partij (vb. de hypotheekgever) haar schuldig is".
Crystal clear. I just can't find an (American) English equivalent. Is there any such thing as a "books clause" or do you English-speaking colleagues have another specific word for this? Thanks for any help! |
