This gets round the problem of the reason why the employment has stopped. Termination usually implies that a person has been fired or terminated.
Leaving usually implies voluntary resignation.
Retirement usually implies reaching the age of retirement.
Cessation of employment means that the employment ends for any reason.

'Indiensttreding' is, according to Van Dale N-E 'commencement of employment', so by analogy, I'd suggest end of employment.

Covers both firing, employee leaving voluntarily or retirement, just end of the agreement.
