Dutch term or phrase: bepaling van openbare orde
The phrase appears in a rental agreement. What would be the English equivalent for this? Here is the whole clause:

'Elke clausule of deel van de clausule die ingaat tegen een dwingende bepaling of een bepaling van openbare orde, dient als niet bestaande te worden beschouwd.'

  -> Yes, I forgot to mention 'or part thereof'. I'm not sure that 'contradict' is the right word here.
