occupation, occupying/transfer of the deed
Explanation:
Ingenotsneming is the Flemish term, old Dutch albeit; ingebruikname is currently used as in Van den End's Juridisch Lexicon. What is meant here is that after the transfer of the deed , which is how it is referred to in the US, the property is legally theirs and therefore can be occupied by the purchaser (as there are no renters). From that moment they are responsible for the taxes etc.
