Dutch term or phrase: inzage; inzagelegging; ter inzage leggen
In general this of course means 'deposit for inspection/perusal'. Is there special terminology for this with respect to patents?

At the beginning of the patent:

ter inzage gelegde

datum van ter inzagelegging

This is different from the 'indieningsdatum'.

unexamined patent application laid open

Explanation:
If you have a patent application, it has to be laid open at some stage, in German, it's the Offenlegungsschrift which translated into English as published patent application or patent application laid open. Then it is possible to file objections. It's the so-called A1 document. Hope that helps.

Publication

Explanation:
This is the term used in patent land. An A1 publication takes place 18 months after the priority application was filed. There are also B-publications, usually the granted patent, or that of the "accepted" application, but the "terinzagelegging" takes place 18 months after priority and so this is the A1 publication. Ter inzage leggen = publish

Example sentence(s):
  • The application has been published = de aanvrage is terinzage gelegd.
