last one, I promise! (would have to be, this is the end...)
Is this "reserves every further decision/judgement" or "sets aside"? I'm afraid there is a distinction between the two.....I can't find anything on the Net in this regard, not even in Dutch.
Thanks all!

reserves judgment on all other matters
Explanation:
Just been talking to our company lawyer about it (she used to be a barrister). Apparently, this means that the court is reserving judgment on all other claims that form part of the case.

In the line beginning with 'VERKLAART', the court specifically only declines jurisdiction over claims brought on the basis that the patent does not protect the product in question. As a court case can be made up of several claims, the court is asserting that it retains jurisdiction over all other claims.

To "reserve judgment" means that a decision will be taken at a later date, pending other matters.

-> "Neil Hamilton, the disgraced former MP, may have to wait until the new year to discover whether he has been successful in his appeal against the verdict in his failed libel action against Mohamed Al Fayed, after three appeal court judges including Lord Phillips, the Master of the Rolls, **reserved judgment** yesterday."

-> "The Court can then either render a decision from the bench, in which case a formal judgment is signed, or it can **reserve judgment**, to be rendered at a later date."

-> "RESERVE JUDGMENT - To postpone a decision until all facts have been fully considered or a point of law reviewed."

Thanks Chris and Jarry - though both answers are correct, I feel this one covers really all of the bases. I was mostly concerned about the possibility of it being 'sets aside'

Or indeed \'reserves any subsequent decision\'.
