Jarry, good morning. I shall try to explain. I did not understand one thing only, what 'SoFi' meant. I got the answer: SoFi='Social Fiscal'. That is what Svetlana fished out. That's it. But how it is translated correctly into English, it is another question. Since I was translating it further into Russian it was enough for me just to decode the SoFi. Thank you for care about clarifying the question.

I am not a child and was able to choose what I considered to be suitable for me. If you not agree then try to explain to Russian Tax department why I translated SoFi like SoSe or TaNu, they are not stupid either. And you may ask moderator to do what you want, I do not care.

Agree Wilhelima, the blasphemy is unwarranted - all writeaway did was indicate that prior research is needed and was still decent enough afterwards to show asker HOW to google.

Please note in the Netherlands, the correct term is Social Security / Tax Number. You picked the wrong answer, which is your good right (you can choose any answer that you find most helpful). I will, however, ask the moderator to amend the glossary entry.

If you google "sofi-nummer" and then select advanced search English,there is NO way at all not to get the answer directly.It's a very simple, basic Dutch term.I would never make such a comment about a really hard to find or difficult/complicated term.
