Dutch term or phrase: Accijnsgoederenplaats (AGP)
No useful context (appears in a list of headings) - however, I found the following definition on a Dutch website on-line: "a warehouse dedicated to the storage of goods subject to excise duty". So to my question: is this any different to a "bonded warehouse", or are these two different concepts?

bonded warehouse
Explanation:
See below, you are on the right track with bonded warehouse

1. DEFINITION AND PURPOSE
Definitions of Bonded Warehouse on the Web:

A warehouse authorized by Customs authorities for storage of goods on which payment of duties is deferred until the goods are removed.
www.universallogistics.ca/html/tech-terms.html
a warehouse in which goods are stored without excise or customs duties being paid until they are removed from the warehouse.
www.cbsc.org/servlet/ContentServer
A warehouse in which goods subject to excise taxes or customs duties are temporarily stored without the taxes or duties being assessed. A bond or security is given for the payment of all taxes and duties that may eventually become due. Operations in the warehouse may include assembly, manipulation or storage but usually not manufacturing.
www.yale.edu/transportation/glossary.htm
Place owned by persons approved of by the Secretary of the Treasury, and who have given guarantees or bonds for the strict observance of revenue laws. Such warehouses are used for the storage and custody of import merchandise, subject to duty, until the duties are paid or the goods reshipped without entry.
www.blinco.com/solutions/glossary/logisticsae.htm
Goods arriving in a different country need to be cleared by Customs. If this requires the goods to be unloaded from their container and inspected, it must be done in a bonded warehouse under the control of the Customs Authorities. Some movers have their own warehouses bonded by Customs, which means that shipments can be sent to them directly to await clearance.

A bonded warehouse is a place (normally, though not always, a building) licensed by the Commissioner General for the deposit and storage of dutiable goods. The purpose is to allow goods to be stored under official supervision before the payment of duty and that duty should become payable only when the goods are taken out of the warehouse for consumption or use in Malawi.http://www.sdnp.org.mw/mra/customs_bonded.html
