Law/Patents - Law (general) / Enforcement of health regulations
Dutch term or phrase: bestuursdwang
The term means action taken to enforce a legal decision. In the case of my translation, a government body will use this measure to force a health clinic to suspend certain unsafe treatment if it fails to do so. (The alternative measure mentioned is a 'dwangsom' or financial penalty.) Anyone know how it's usually translated in English?

My thanks to Davorka Grgican for shooting from the hip - a fast answer was just what I needed in this case! Also I was able to work out myself how to use it. In practice the phrase ‘an administrative order will be enforced’ is hard to use in the sentence as it already contains the word ‘order’ to translate ‘bevel’.

agree  Lawyer-Linguist: Yes, if answerers just asked for exact context (where it isn't provided) in an effort to give precise answers, instead of shooting from the hip with the first dictionary entry before them, the glossary would be far more reliable

neutral  writeaway: I am 'accused' of copying your answer which you know isn't true (I copied out of the same dico but a different entry after I stupidly asked for context) and all you can say is 'thank you'. Thank you indeed!!!/@Henk-your comment is ludicrous/U R Henk?
