If, on the other hand, TPO has come to denote a body of persons then the term "acceptance" in "acceptance by the tripartite meeting" should also do, just as a General Shareholders' Meeting is also a decision-making body.

Sorry, I thought you meant the abbreviation.
Acceptatie could be the same as "instemming" . You could translate it with: endorsement/approval or consent. But I think endorsement is the best choice
